About the Committee
The summer of 1991 marked a decisive turning point for the Soviet Union. Political instability, rising nationalist movements, and a deep economic crisis had brought the Union to the brink of collapse. As the central government’s authority weakened, a group of high-ranking officials, determined to preserve the Soviet Union at any cost, established the State Committee for the State of Emergency (GKChP).In this crisis committee, delegates will assume the roles of GKChP members during one of the most critical moments in modern history. Your objective is clear: to prevent the dissolution of the Soviet Union and reestablish central authority.Every decision has consequences. Time is limited, the pressure is immense, and failure is not an option. This committee is not just about a coup; it is about power, control, and the survival of a superpower.““Союз должен быть сохранён ! “
